Lake Arrowhead Boating Rules and Courtesies
|
|
-
Only registered watercraft displaying a current Lake Arrowhead registration decal are permitted on both of the Lake Arrowhead lakes.
-
When boating in the northern part of the lake, use a speed that does not generate any significant wake and never go faster than 5 MPH. The same rules apply where the no wake buoys are.
-
To facilitate safe boating, all boat traffic must circulate the lake in a counter clockwise direction. The lake can be crossed only in the middle near the clubhouse, or at either end of the lake.
-
All occupants of any watercraft should wear life vests. All watercraft engaged in pulling someone must either have three persons aboard or be equipped with a wide angle rear view mirror. It is a requirement for all people being pulled to wear US Coast Guard life vests.
-
No jetski's or personal watercraft equivalents are allowed.
-
Running lights must be turned on on all watercraft operating after sunset
